Playing with the lights and exposure

I just found an interesting book about photography, it's called 'Trick Photography and Special Effects'.
I haven't read the whole book yet, but one of my picture really grabbed my attention on page 81. I read how they made it and I could successfully reproduce the image. But using the same and similar ideas in the book I used my own creativity and created the below photographs.
I hope you'll enjoy it. I really can suggest that book to read...or buy from the internet ;-)

I used 'Bulb' mode in manual exposure mode, used the remote controller and used the smallest aperture I could
.
I used a flashlight to give the initial lights to the book in order this appear in well composed, then used the flash light again when I was turning the pages. I used black gloves to turn the pages so that's why my hand is invisible ;-)
